ABSTRACT
The seminar is divided into two parts. In the first, Prof. Wilk-Kołodziejczyk will present her team’s work on applying artificial intelligence to industrial processes, with a focus on intelligent decision-support tools for casting production, automated processing of production data, and the development of predictive models for optimizing process parameters. She will also discuss current challenges and future research directions.
The second part will be dedicated to research activities in microstructure image analysis, with particular attention to the challenges of segmenting irregular elements that share few common features—an area currently explored by her doctoral students under her supervision.
